1. What services do you offer?

2. How does a CAM-Miami current account typically operate?

Our current accounts allow you to write checks and order national and international transfers.

3. How do you calculate the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Euro?

Our Agency uses the daily market rate published by Bloomberg.

4. How long does it take for foreign checks to clear?

Checks issued outside US territory will take between 30 and 45 days to clear, depending on the country of origin.

5. How long does it take to open an account?

Our accounts are active after 24 hours, providing all the required documentation has been duly completed.

6. Why does your Agency request so much information to open an account?

Our Agency requires the same type and amount of information as other banks in order to comply with federal regulations imposed following September 11th 2001.

7. Can I make deposits with your Agency to be credited to accounts held by CAM España?

If you have an account with CAM-Miami, you can order internal transfers between that account and your account with CAM España using our online banking platform or by sending a written request to our Customer Service Department.

8. Can I manage my account(s) with CAM España using the CAM Directo Miami system?

To access your account(s) in Spain you must use CAM Directo, and for your account(s) with our Agency you must use CAM Directo Miami, since the two systems are not compatible owing to the differences between the regulations governing the American and European financial systems.

9.  Where are your US-based branches?

CAM Miami-Agency is the first and only international operative branch owned by Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo (CAM). We provide support to our representative branches located in Cancun (Mexico) and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) as well as our customers located throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

10. Does your Agency offer credit cards?

Our Agency offers American Express Gold and Platinum credit cards.

11. Where should I address any questions or comments about my account?

12. Will any charges be applied to my account for crediting funds from checks paid in?

We only apply charges for this type of service on international checks.

13. Does your Agency offer free online banking access so I can manage my accounts?

Yes. When customers open an account with us, they are sent usernames and passwords to access our CAM Directo Miami platform with two levels of user authentication.

14. After opening an account, how long will it be before I can access the online banking service (CAM Directo Miami)?

Access to our online banking service is available following a period of 24 hours from the date the account is opened, providing all the requirements established have been duly met.
