Environmental Policy

At CAM, we have implemented an Environmental Management System in our Central Services and Offices. This system has obtained the ISO 14001:2004 Certificate and the EMAS II European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme Accreditation.

These are our principles:

  • We undertake to continuously improve the environment and prevent pollution by maintaining an Environmental Management system, involving the periodic evaluation of the environmental aspects of our processes and services.
  • We will establish environmental aims and targets to be respectful of nature, coherent with the environmental impact of our activity and with this policy, which will be revised annually by our Management team.
  • We undertake to reduce the environmental impact of our activity (waste paper and cardboard, fluorescent lights, toners, ink cartridges, non-selective waste and other waste, etc.) as a part of our daily work, and to optimise our consumption of natural resources (paper, plastic, water, electricity, etc.).
  • We undertake to comply with applicable environmental legislation and regulations, implementing the necessary measures any other requirements to which the organisation subscribes.
  • We undertake to increase the awareness of environmental matters among our personnel and co-operators, expanding training and information at all levels, to establish good environmental practices.
  • We will encourage our clients, suppliers and subcontractors to observe the principles of this Environmental Policy, helping them to adopt it to the highest possible degree.
  • We will maintain an open and collaborative relation with the public authorities, companies in our sector and other interested groups, for the protection and preservation of the environment.

This Policy must be understood and put into practice by all company personnel and co-operators. It is also available to the general public.

Management undertakes to monitor the application of this Policy and to revise its contents periodically, adapting it to the nature of the activities and their environmental impact, as well as to general company strategy.
